When reusing the logo, include attribution such as: refineGEMs logo by the refineGEMs contributors, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Approved Logo Assets -------------------- Use the files in ``docs/source/images/logos/`` as the canonical project logos for README files, documentation pages, presentations, and community material. Use the logo(s) as supplied whenever possible. Colours ------- The approved logo palette is intentionally restrained: .. list-table:: :header-rows: 1 * - Role - Colour - Hex * - Primary logo gold - muted warm gold - ``#B4A069`` * - Light background - warm off-white - ``#F7F4EF`` * - Neutral text - charcoal - ``#262626`` * - Reverse background - white - ``#FFFFFF`` For project material, prefer the primary gold for logo strokes, accents, and small highlights. Use neutral text colours for readability. Avoid recolouring the logo into unrelated palettes unless a single-colour accessibility or production constraint requires it. Minimum Size ------------ Keep the logo large enough for the wordmark and arrows to remain legible: * Digital use: at least ``120 px`` wide for the full logo. * Small icon or favicon use: at least ``32 px`` wide. * Print use: at least ``25 mm`` wide. If the wordmark becomes hard to read, use a larger size or switch to a simpler project mention in text. Clear Space ----------- Leave clear space around the logo equal to at least one eighth of the logo diameter on all sides. Do not place text, badges, partner logos, or dense graphics inside this area. More space is preferred on title slides, posters, and documentation headers. Acceptable Modifications ------------------------ You may: * Scale the logo proportionally. * Place the logo on white, warm off-white, or another calm high-contrast background. * Export the logo to another raster format when required by a publishing system. * Use a single-colour version in primary gold, black, or white when technical constraints require it. Please avoid: * Stretching, squashing, rotating, cropping, or redrawing the logo. * Changing the relationship between the arrows, circular mark, and wordmark. * Adding shadows, outlines, gradients, filters, or decorative effects. * Placing the logo on busy backgrounds where the wordmark is difficult to read. * Using the logo in a way that implies endorsement of an external project without permission from the refineGEMs maintainers.
