Multi-Purpose Artificial Urine (MP-AU)

The Mulit-Purpose Artificial Urine is composed of compounds contained within urine as described in ‘A New Artificial Urine Protocol to Better Imitate Human Urine’[1]. Pan, Altenried and Scheibler et al. [2] used MP-AU with Pseudomonas aeruginosa under aerobic conditions. Thus, oxygen is added to the definition.
